The Ministry of Religious Affairs has released the roadmap for the 2027 (Hijri 1448) Hajj operations. The roadmap was issued on Sunday (June 7) by the ministry’s Hajj-1 wing.
According to the roadmap, the registration process for the Hajj pilgrims must be completed by September 26, this year. And, a bilateral Hajj agreement is scheduled to be signed on November 8.
In a press release issued on Monday, the ministry confirmed this Hajj-proceeding-update, requested all parties concerned to complete their Hajj-related activities according to the roadmap within the stipulated time.
On May 29, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced the schedule for the 2027 Hajj operations at a function held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, officially handing over the roadmap to the religious affairs ministers from various countries.
Bangladesh’s Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain Kaikobad attended the event as an invited guest and received the roadmap, formally handed over by Saudi Assistant Minister for Hajj and Umrah Dr. Al Hasan bin Yahya Al Manakhrah.
The roadmap further states that the Hajj visa issuance will begin on January 28, 2027, while Hajj flights are scheduled to start on April 8. Subject to moon sighting, the holy Hajj is expected to take place on May 15, 2027 (9th Dhul Hijjah).
The transfer of Saudi-side expenses to the e-wallet of the Nusuk Masar platform will continue from July 15 to December 24, this year.
The process of signing agreements for comprehensive service packages through Nusuk Masar - including tent arrangements, service packages, hotels in Makkah and Madinah, catering, and transportation services " will begin on July 29, 2026, and continue until January 23, 2027.
Pilgrims’ data must be uploaded to the Nusuk Masar system between August 14, 2026 and January 28, 2027. And agreements with airlines carryingthe Hajj pilgrims, along with completion of necessary documentation on the Nusuk Masar platform, must be finalised between July 29 and November 8, 2026.
