PrimeAcademia Empowering Youth Season 2.0 held at DIU

Prime Bank PLC successfully organized “PrimeAcademia Empowering Youth Season 2.0” in collaboration with the Career Development Center (CDC) of Daffodil International University (DIU) and DIU Finance Club at the International Conference Hall, Knowledge Tower, DIU The programme brought together students, academicians, and banking professionals for an engaging day focused on career readiness, leadership development, financial literacy, and industry-academia collaboration, says a press release. 

The event was graced by senior officials from Prime Bank PLC. Shaila Abedin, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Liability and Women Banking; Mr. M M Mahbub Hasan, Senior Vice President and Head of Financial Inclusion and School Banking; and Monoara Khatoon, Vice President and Head of Talent Acquisition and Organizational Development
Distinguished representatives from Daffodil International University including Professor Mohammed Masum Iqbal, PhD, Pro-Vice Chancellor; Dr. Mohammed Nadir Bin Ali, Registrar; and Dr. Hamidul Haque Khan, Treasurer of the university.

The programme commenced with the National Anthem followed by welcome remarks and insightful keynote discussions delivered by university authorities and banking professionals.

During the interactive sessions, students gained practical insights into modern banking, financial inclusion, leadership, employability skills, and career development opportunities in the financial sector. A special mock interview session allowed participants to experience real-life recruitment processes and receive valuable career guidance directly from industry experts.

Participants also received certificates, gift kits, and networking opportunities, making the event both educational and impactful.
