Farmers’ PARTNER Congress held in M'sing

MYMENSINGH, June 17: A day-long PARTNER Congress organised by the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) under the ‘Program on Agricultural and Rural Transformation for Nutrition, Entrepreneurship and Resilience (PARTNER)’ project for the fiscal year 2025-26 was held at the Muktagachha Upazila Parishad auditorium on Wednesday. 

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Krishna Chandra chaired the congress and Deputy Director of the Mymensingh DAE Md Enamul Haque was the chief guest. Upazila Agriculture Officer (UAO) Sinmin Jahan Ilma delivered the welcome speech and Upazila Agricultural Extension Officer Lutfunnahar Preeti moderated the event. Among others, Training Officer of the Mymensingh DAE Umme Habiba, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Lubna Ahmed Luna and Senior Fisheries Officer Tanbir Ahmed spoke. Besides, Upazila Social Service Officer Zahirul Islam, Veterinary Surgeon Anwar Parvez Nihan, 35 members of the PARTNER Field School and 35 members of the Non-PARTNER School, journalists and dignitaries were present.
