Pakistan HC calls on Opposition Leader

Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Imran Haider, paid a courtesy call on Opposition Leader and Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, at the Opposition Leader’s office in the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Thursday morning.

The meeting, held at around 1130 am, was attended by Political Counsellor of the Pakistan High Commission Kamran Dangal and took place in a cordial, friendly, and constructive atmosphere.

During the discussion, High Commissioner Haider emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Bangladesh through a forward-looking approach. He noted that ties between the two countries have witnessed positive developments in recent years, marked by growing trade volumes and a series of visits by military and civilian officials from both sides.
