Springfield Corporation opens Chattogram office to accelerate digital export growth

Springfield Corporation, the Authorized Channel Partner of Alibaba.com in Bangladesh, has officially inaugurated its new office in Chattogram, further strengthening support for Bangladeshi exporters, manufacturers, suppliers, and traders seeking access to global markets through digital trade.


The inauguration ceremony was attended by Summer, General Manager �" Pakistan and Bangladesh, Alibaba.com, Vania, Senior Specialist, Channel Operation, Global Business Development Department, Alibaba.com, Bryce, Business Development Manager, Alibaba.com, Tina, Service and Account Manager, Alibaba.com,Sonobar Maira, Channel Manager, Bangladesh, Alibaba.com, Md. FaizulAlam, Managing Director of Springfield Corporation, ShaanShahed, Executive Director, Sajeed Bin Sulaiman, Consultant, Springfield Corporation, Rezbikarim, Deputy General Manager and Umma Rokeya Nisha, Assistant General Manager along with other senior officials from both organizations.


Through this partnership, Springfield Corporation will help Bangladeshi businesses leverage Alibaba.com’s global B2B platform, which connects buyers and sellers across nearly 200 countries and regions. The initiative will initially focus on the textile and apparel sector, followed by jute, leather, light engineering, handicrafts, and other export-oriented industries, says a press release on Saturday. 


Speaking at the event, company representatives emphasized that the Chattogram office will bring global business opportunities closer to local enterprises and contribute to strengthening Bangladesh’s export ecosystem through digital trade.


Initially, the collaboration will focus on the textile and apparel sector, followed by expansion into other key industries including jute, leather, light engineering, handicrafts, and additional export-oriented sectors.
