WASA MD inspects Meghna river intake point

Dhaka WASA Managing Director (MD) Md Aminul Islam has inspected the Meghna River intake point under the Saidabad Water Treatment Plant Phase-3 project in Haria village at Baidyerbazar Union in Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj district.

Deputy MD (RP&D) Azizul Haque, Project Director Md. Mostafizur Rahman, along with senior officials and engineers of WASA, were present at the site.

After completion, the project is expected to supply 450 million litres of treated water daily to the capital. The project is scheduled for completion by June 2029.
