Mohammad Mamun Faruk has been promoted to Deputy Managing Director (DMD) at Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB). In his new role, he will serve as the Head of Wholesale Banking Division (WBD).
Faruk currently serves as the Head of Wholesale Banking Division of Mutual Trust Bank PLC, where he oversees the Bank’s wholesale banking business, corporate relationships, and strategic growth initiatives.
Mohammad Mamun Faruk is a seasoned banking professional with over 26 years of experience in the financial services industry. He commenced his banking career as a Probationary Officer at The City Bank PLC in December 1999 and joined Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) in 2010, says a press release.
Prior to his current role, Faruk served in various leadership positions within MTB’s Wholesale Banking Division. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Dhaka and an MBA with a major in Finance from North South University.
