Shahjalal Islami Bank holds financial literacy workshop

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC organized a Half day-long financial literacy workshop on the uses of cashless transactions at Uttara Branch recently, jointly organized by the Risk Management Division of the Bank's Corporate Head Office and its’ Uttara Branch.

The Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC, Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, was present as the chief guest in the financial literacy workshop, says a press release.  

The six branches of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC and their respective Customers participated in the workshop. The programme was moderated by Mr. Mohammed Abu Shayem, Head of the Risk Management Division and Financial Inclusion Unit of the Bank.

The Head of IT Division and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the Bank  Khandker Bedoura Mahbub and the Head of the Bank's Card Division, Md Riad Hossainwere discussed elaborately in uses of cashless transactions. 

Managers of the Bank are also present there. 

The discussants presented details on the uses and benefits of cashless transactions in the Half day-long workshop. The participants expressed optimism that cashless transactions would save customers time and make their transactions more risk-free.
