BCG holds medical camp at Mongla

KHULNA, June 24: Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG) has provided free medical treatment and essential medicines to 221 underprivileged people through a medical camp held at Joymoni in Mongla of Bagerhat District on Wednesday, said a press release issued by BCG Media Officer Lt Commander Sabbir Alam Sujon.

According to press release, BCG has been extending support to disadvantaged communities living in coastal and riverine areas since its inception. Continuing this effort, a medical camp was organised at Joymoni High School under the management of BCG Base Mongla from 10 am to 2 pm on Wednesday.

The media officer said that BCG would continue such public welfare activities in the future to support the well-being of coastal communities.
