Man stabbed to death in Ctg

A man has been stabbed to death over an alleged prior dispute in Chattogram.

The attack took place at Abdul Para near Pahartali around 10am on Tuesday, and the victim died while undergoing treatment later that afternoon.

The deceased, Md Rifat, 28, was a resident of the same area.

Md Ruhul Amin, the assistant commissioner of city police (Pahartali zone), told bdnews24.com: “The killers were known to Rifat. Locals say they used to move around together. He was called out in the morning and then stabbed.”

“CCTV footage of the incident has been recovered. Those involved in the attack have also been identified,” he added.

The officer added that drives are under way to arrest those involved. -bdnews24
