Agri incentives distributed at Mohadevpur, Sreepur

Agricultural incentives free of cost have been distributed in Mohadevpur Upazila of Naogaon District and Sreepur Upazila of Gazipur District on Wednesday.

MOHADEVPUR, NAOGAON: Free agricultural incentives and distribution of relief materials among the distressed and helpless people affected by natural disasters were inaugurated at the Mohadevpur Upazila Auditorium in the district on Wednesday afternoon. 

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Manjura Musharraf chaired the inauguration ceremony while Member of Parliament (MP) for Naogaon-3 (Mohadevpur and Badalgachhi) Constituency Md Fazle Huda Babul inaugurated and spoke at the programme as the chief guest. Upazila Agriculture Officer Hossain Mohammad Ershad and Upazila Project Implementation Officer Md Golam Rabbani delivered the welcome speech. 

Additional Agriculture Officer Md Jahangir Alam moderated the event. Upazila BNP Senior Vice-President Md Jaharul Islam, Khajur Union Parishad Chairman Alhaj Md Belal Uddin, Officer-in-Charge of Mohadevpur Police Station Md Omar Faruk, Upazila BNP Organising Secretary and former upazila vice chairman Alhaj Md Sajjad Hossain, Organising Secretary S M Abdul Hannan, former VP Enamul Haque, Upazila Krishak Dal President Sultan Mamunur Rashid, General Secretary Md Matiur Rahman Moti, among others, addressed as special guests. 

SREEPUR, GAZIPUR: The Sreepur Upazila Agriculture Department has distributed free fertilisers and seeds to 3,000 marginal farmers in the upazila to increase agricultural production and support farmers.

MP for Gazipur-3 Constituency Professor SM Rafiqul Islam was present as the chief guest at the programme organised at the Sreepur Upazila Auditorium around 11 am on Wednesday and handed over free fertilisers and seeds to the farmers.
Agriculturist Sumaiya Sultana Banya spoke at the programme chaired by UNO Nahid Bhuiyan.
