Aminul greets sports journalists

State Minister for Youth and Sports Aminul Haque on Thursday congratulated the media people of sports arena on the occasion of World Sports Journalists Day.

In a message on the day he said, "As we navigate a rapidly evolving digital landscape, my ministry views sports media professionals not merely as observers, but as vital institutional partners in our mission to democratize athletic infrastructure and unearth grassroots talents."

He said the day celebrates the collective dedication of those behind the pen, lens, and broadcast booth.

"Your tireless efforts ensure that the thrill of the games and spirit of athleticism reach every corner of the world," he added.

The stunning imagery captured by our camera crews and the incisive narratives penned by our writers do more than inform. They galvanize nations, shape public consciousness, and archive our sporting heritage, the message said.

The vigor of our global sports ecosystem is inextricably linked to your shared intellectual rigor, creativity, and ethical stewardship, he added.

Aminul Haque urged all to maintain the sacred tenets of investigative integrity and inclusivity, ensuring that underrepresented sports and athletes also find their voice.

The state minister assured the sports journalists of always standing beside them with all unyielding supports so that they can serve as the definitive conscience of the sporting world, the message said.    �"BSS
