Bangladesh Krishi Bank CBA holds 62nd Anniversary

The 62nd founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Krishi Bank Employees' Union (CBA) B-985 was celebrated with colorful festivities, a festive atmosphere and great enthusiasm on Wednesday (July 8) at the head office of Bangladesh Krishi Bank.

The anniversary programme was presided over by Foyez Uddin Ahmed, President of the Bangladesh Krishi Bank Employees' Union (CBA) B-985, says a press release. 

Greeting speeches were delivered by Md. Zahid Hossain, Chief Coordinator (Deputy General Manager) of the Bangladesh Krishi Bank Officers' Welfare Association, and Syed Liaqat Hossain, Convener (Deputy General Manager) of the Officers' Welfare Association.

The welcome address was delivered by Md. Miraj Hossain, General Secretary of the Bangladesh Krishi Bank Employees' Union (CBA).

In their speeches, the speakers highlighted the union's 62-year journey, its role in securing employees' legitimate rights, protecting their professional dignity, carrying out welfare activities and safeguarding the interests of the bank's employees.

They also recalled with gratitude the organisation's achievements since its inception and expressed their firm commitment to making its activities more dynamic through unity, discipline, accountability and mutual cooperation between officers and employees.

The second session of the programme featured the council meeting and biennial conference of the CBA's Dhaka Unit Committee. Distinguished speakers included Md. Sahabuddin Ahmed, Md. Shafiuddin Ahmed, Md. Sirajul Islam and Md. Aslam.

The event was attended by central and unit-level leaders of the organisation, along with invited guests.
