Two commit suicide in two districts

Two people committed suicide in separate incidents in Joypurhat and Kishoreganj districts in two days.

JOYPURHAT: A mason committed suicide by jumping under the Chilahati-bound Titumir train passing through Bagjana railway station in Panchbibi Upazila of the district on Friday morning.

The deceased Ashraful Islam was the son of Badirul Islam of Raipur Village in the upazila. 
Shortly before committing suicide, Ashraful posted a status on his Facebook ID. There he requested the family to sell the cows he had left behind to repay the debts of the creditors.

KISHOREGANJ: A warranted suspect in a drug case named Md Rubel, 21, committed suicide in the Nikli PS jail in the district on Thursday morning.

Police said that Rubel voluntarily surrendered to the Nikli PS at 9:50 am on Thursday and was shown arrested. Later, he committed suicide by taking off his shirt inside the jail at around 11:15 am and hanging himself from the grill.
