
Three more children died with measles symptoms across Bangladesh in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of deaths associated with suspected and confirmed measles to 753.
During the same period, no deaths from dengue were reported.
However, 158 new dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) daily report released on Friday.
In measles report, the DGHS said that although three people died with measles symptoms in the last 24 hours, no deaths from laboratory-confirmed measles were recorded during the period.
A total of 84 new confirmed measles cases were detected over the past 24 hours, while another 702 people were reported to have developed measles symptoms.
Since March 15, the country has recorded 13,410 laboratory-confirmed measles cases while suspected measles cases to 110,601 since March 15.
