Police urge commuters to leave with sufficient time amid waterlogging in Dhaka

Continuous rainfall over the past several days has caused waterlogging on several roads across the capital, disrupting traffic and slowing vehicle movement.

Rain continued from early Monday, prompting police to advise commuters to leave with sufficient extra time to reach their destinations.

In a notice on Monday morning, the Gulshan Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Traffic Police said that persistent rainfall over the past few days had led to waterlogging in low-lying areas, affecting traffic flow on multiple roads.
