Bangladesh Coast Guard has continued its relief distribution activities to support the helpless people of coastal areas affected by adverse weather.
Coast Guard Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Sabbir Alam Sujon shared this information on Monday (July 13) morning.
He said that the Coast Guard's humanitarian assistance activities have been ongoing among the affected families in remote coastal regions during the week-long disaster.
Meanwhile, Coast Guard Base in Chattogram distributed relief materials in the flood affected areas, adjacent to North Jaldi in Banshkhali, Chattogram last Sunday.
Humanitarian aids were provided to 100 affected families who had shortage of daily necessities.
Lieutenant Commander Sabbir Alam Sujon stated that the Coast Guard is providing humanitarian aid by standing beside the disaster-stricken coastal population. Such public welfare and humanitarian activities will continue in the future as well.
