FF Moni new Khulna WASA chair

KHULNA, July 14: Former Khulna City Corporation (KCC) mayor and valiant freedom fighter Mohammad Moniruzzaman has been appointed as the chairman of the Khulna Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (Khulna WASA) for a three-year term in a notification issued on Monday by the Local Government Division under the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives.

According to the notification, signed by Senior Assistant Secretary Shakila Parvin, Moniruzzaman has been appointed under Section 7(1) of the Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (Amendment) Act, 2026.
