Dengue claims 2 more lives 306 hospitalised

Bangladesh has recorded two more dengue deaths over the past 24 hours, while 306 new patients have been admitted to hospitals with the mosquito-borne disease.

The latest figures, published in the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) daily bulletin on Thursday, cover the period from 8am on Wednesday to the following 24 hours.

The latest deaths have raised this year’s dengue death toll to 32. Of them, 14 have been reported in July alone.

Among the newly admitted patients, 28 were hospitalised in facilities under the Dhaka North City Corporation area and 41 in hospitals under the Dhaka South City Corporation area.

Another 26 patients were admitted to hospitals outside the two city corporation areas in Dhaka.�"­­­­bdnews24
