Foreign pistol, revolver recovered in Shahjahanpur

Police on Sunday recovered a foreign-made pistol, a foreign-made revolver and six rounds of ammunition from an abandoned spot in the capital’s South Khilgaon area. 

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Deputy Commissioner (Motijheel Division) Mohammad Harun-or-Rashid confirmed this information. He said police, acting on a tip-off, recovered the firearms and ammunition at around 12:35am from a garbage dump beside a public toilet near a lake side in Bagicha area of South Khilgaon under Shahjahanpur Police Station.
