Four more people died with measles-like symptoms across Bangladesh in the 24 hours ending Saturday morning, including three in Sylhet and one in Dhaka.
No deaths from laboratory-confirmed measles were reported during the period, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The DGHS, in its daily measles situation report released on Saturday, said the cumulative death toll from confirmed measles and measles-like symptoms has risen to 784 since March 15. Of the total, 95 deaths were from confirmed measles, while 689 were among patients with measles-like symptoms.
