Users face trouble as Facebook web version goes down

Many users have reported about sudden difficulties in accessing the popular social media platforms Facebook and Messenger. Users are experiencing disrupting while trying to access the web versions of the media. 

However, mobile applications have been functioning properly. 

Many users started sharing their experiences on social media after 1:40PM. For some, the Facebook homepage opens but new posts do not load. In other cases, messages sent via Messenger are not being delivered or are showing a 'sending' status for a long time.

Due to this, personal communication and business activities are hampered. However, this issue is specific to the web versions only. 

Whenever large platforms like Meta goes down, the impact is not limited to personal communication or entertainment. Numerous small businesses, online entrepreneurs, news media, and freelancers suffer immensely because of this disruption. Even a few hours of technical difficulties may lead to a huge delay in their work.
