Series glory for Tigers
Bangladesh produced a strong comeback in the three-match T20 International series against Zimbabwe, defeating the hosts 2-1 after winning the decisive third match to clinch the series.
After suffering defeat in the opening game, the Tigers bounced back strongly in the second T20I with a convincing victory to level the series. Spinner Rishad Hossain and the bowling attack played a key role in restricting Zimbabwe, while Bangladesh’s batters ensured a comfortable chase.
In the series decider at Bulawayo, Bangladesh displayed composure under pressure and secured a memorable win. Opener Tanzid Hasan Tamim led the batting charge with a crucial half-century, guiding the team towards victory.
The series win provided a much-needed boost for Bangladesh after a challenging tour. The Tigers’ improved batting performance, disciplined bowling and ability to handle pressure in the final match helped them overcome Zimbabwe and return home with the T20 series trophy.
