The CNG Filling Station and Conversion Workshop Owners Association has demanded an increase in the price of compressed natural gas (CNG), used as a fuel for driving vehicles.
They made this demand at a press conference in the capital on Tuesday. The association said that the price of CNG gas should be increased. The commission should be fixed at 13 taka 96 paisa.
The association's press conference said that if the demands are not met, all CNG filling stations will be symbolically closed from 6 am to 12 am on Thursday, July 30.
It also said that if the demands are not met, CNG filling stations across the country will be closed indefinitely from Sunday, August 23.
