ACC prepares reply to Dubai queries 

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is preparing its response to a series of queries raised by Dubai Police as part of the process to repatriate former inspector general of police Benazir Ahmed, who is facing multiple corruption cases in Bangladesh.

The commission said it would send the required explanations, along with relevant case documents, to the Dubai authorities within the next couple of days.

According to the ACC, Dubai Police has sought clarification on several issues, including the nature of the cases against Benazir, the allegations against him and the legal proceedings underway in Bangladesh, before proceeding with his extradition.
