Dhaka Bank opens collection booth at DSCC Zone-2 office

Dhaka Bank PLC has inaugurated a new collection booth at the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Zone-2 (Khilgaon) Office to facilitate the collection of Holding Tax and Trade License Fees from residents and business owners under the jurisdiction of DSCC Zone-2.

The inauguration ceremony was held at the DSCC Zone-2 (Khilgaon) Office in Dhaka on Wednesday. The booth was formally inaugurated by Osman Ershad  Faiz, managing director of Dhaka Bank PLC, Md Abdus Salam, freedom fighter and the administrator of Dhaka South City Corporation, says a press release.

The newly established booth will enable residents and business owners of DSCC Zone-2 (Khilgaon) to conveniently pay their Holding Tax and Trade License Fees in person at the designated collection point. As part of its ongoing collaboration with Dhaka South City Corporation to promote digital and accessible public service delivery, Dhaka Bank PLC. Previously inaugurated its first DSCC collection booth at Nagar Bhaban on July 2, 2025, followed by a second booth at Dhalpur on October 30, 2025. 
Dhaka Bank also offers DSCC taxpayers real-time payment of Holding Tax and Trade License Fees through its branches nationwide, as well as through its Mobile App and Internet Banking platform.

To conclude, Sheikh Abdul Bakir, Deputy Managing Director of Dhaka Bank PLC, and Md Zahirul Islam, CEO of Dhaka South City Corporation, Junayed Kabir, Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Dhaka South City Corporation; were present at the ceremony.
