Three more persons have died from Aedes mosquito-borne dengue fever in Bangladesh, raising the death toll from the disease to 43 so far this year.
An additional 458 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country in the past 24 hours, bringing the number of patients currently undergoing treatment to 1,118.
The information was disclosed on Sunday in a statement issued by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
According to the DGHS, the latest victims were a man aged between 36 and 40 years while two woman ages between 31-35 and 45-50.
