Astronomical estimates have been released regarding the possible dates of the holy month of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr in 2027.

According to the Hijri 1448 calendar, the first fast of the holy month of Ramadan is likely to begin in the Middle East on February 8, 2027.

According to Middle East-based media outlet Jordan News and Saudi Arabia's Hijri calendar information, the possibility of sighting the Ramadan moon on the 29th of Shaban 1448 AH, i.e. February 6, is low. As a result, the month of Shaban may be complete for 30 days and thus, there is a possibility that fasting will begin on February 8.

According to astronomers' calculations, the month of Ramadan in 2027 may be 29 days long. Accordingly, the month of Ramadan will end on March 8 and the holy Eid-ul-Fitr may be celebrated in the Middle East on March 9 (Tuesday).
