Shimanto Bank inks deal with PKSF for credit guarantee scheme

Shimanto Bank PLC has recently signed an agreement with Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) at the PKSF Bhaban. The agreement was executed under Credit Enhancement Scheme of PKSF to make credit facilities more accessible and dynamic for the country’s micro and cottage industry entrepreneurs. 

The primary objective of this joint initiative is to boost economic activities at the grassroots level by creating opportunities for marginal and emerging entrepreneurs to access easy-term financing through microfinance institutions, says a press release.

Md Nurul Azim, Managing Director and CEO of Shimanto Bank PLC, and Md Fazlul Kader, Managing Director of PKSF, were present at the signing ceremony. Among others, Md. Sahidul Islam, Head of Business, and Md Faridul Islam, Head of SME Department from Shimanto Bank PLC, along with Md Hasan Khaled, Deputy Managing Director of PKSF, were also present at the event.
