Worker killed in Bagerhat wall collapse

BAGERHAT, Aug 2: A worker was killed after the wall of a septic tank of an under-construction Gulishakhali Fazil Madrasa in Nishanbaria Union of Morrelganj Upazila of the district collapsed on Saturday noon. 

The deceased Md Atiyar, 44, was a resident of Jashore District. 

Sub Officer of Morrelganj Fire Service and Civil Defence Station Golam Farooq said, after receiving the news of the incident, a fire fighting team tried for about a quarter of an hour and recovered the body.
