SSC, equivalent exam results on Aug 10

The results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on Monday.
In a media statement issued on Thursday, the education ministry said the results would be published simultaneously across the country.

This year’s SSC and equivalent exams began on Apr 21.

The SSC written exams ended on May 20, while the written tests for the Dakhil and SSC Vocational streams concluded on May 24.

The education boards have traditionally published SSC and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) results within two months of the completion of the written exams.

On that basis, Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon had earlier said results were planned for Jul 20, a target the boards failed to meet.

A total of 1.86 million candidates filled out forms to sit this year’s exams.
Of them, 1.42 registered for the SSC exam, 304,286 for Dakhil, and 134,660 for the SSC and Dakhil Vocational exams. -bdnews24
