Vinicius extends Real Madrid contract until 2032

Brazilian forward Vinícius Júnior has signed a new six-year contract with Real Madrid, ending months of speculation over his future.

The Spanish club confirmed on Thursday that the new deal will keep the 26-year-old at the Santiago Bernabéu until June 30, 2032.

Contract negotiations had been ongoing for more than a year, with uncertainty growing as Vinicius’ previous deal was due to expire in June 2027.

According to reports, representatives of the Brazilian international met with club officials a day earlier, and an improved contract offer helped pave the way for an agreement.

In a statement, Real Madrid said: “Real Madrid and Vinicius Junior have agreed to extend the contract of our player. This contract will keep him at the club until June 30, 2032.”
