Immigration police arrested Don Haque for the murder of his colleague and fellow actor, Salman Shah, 30 years after the incident.
OC Kamrul Hasan of Airport Police Station confirmed the arrest on Sunday (August 9),
According to police officials, he was detained from the airport area in Dhaka. The case is being investigated by the CID.
Salman Shah was an iconic move-star in Bangladesh for both his acting and modeling career, becoming the “first superstar in Dhallywood.”
On 6th September 1996, at the height of his fame, he was found dead in his apartment.
His untimely death, however, became the subject of many conspiracy theories. 29 years after his passing, a murder case was launched to further look into his demise. The new case names 11 individuals, including Don Haque.
