SSC, equivalent exam results to be published

Results of this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations will be published simultaneously at 10am today (Monday). Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Haque Milan will formally inaugurate the results at an event at the Education Ministry’s conference room.

Students will be able to access their results online, through their respective educational institutions and via SMS. Results will also be available on eduboardresult.gov.bd and educationboardresults.gov.bd.

To receive results by SMS, students should type SSC [first three letters of board] [roll number] [year] and send it to 16140. For example, Dhaka Board students should send SSC DHA ROLL YEAR. Dakhil students should use SSC MAD ROLL YEAR, while SSC Vocational students should use SSC TEC ROLL YEAR. Each SMS will cost Tk 1.39, including taxes.

A total of 18,57,344 students registered for this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations. Of them, 14,18,398 are under nine general education boards, 3,04,286 under the Madrasa Education Board and 1,34,660 under the Technical Education Board.

The written examinations began on April 21. Written tests under the general education boards ended on May 20, while Dakhil and SSC Vocational written exams ended on May 24.

Students can apply for re-scrutiny from August 11 to 17. Details of the application process will be published on the respective education boards’ websites.
