SSC results to be published Monday; Junior Scholarship exam schedule finalised

The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations-2026 will be published on Monday (August 10).

Professor Dr Syed Akhtaruzzaman, president of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, said students will be able to access their results through the official websites of their respective education boards and the common result portals.

Students can also receive their results via SMS from any mobile operator by typing SSC, followed by a space, the first three letters of their education board, another space, their roll number, another space and the examination year, and sending the message to 16140. Each SMS will cost Tk 1.39, including applicable taxes.

Meanwhile, the Dhaka Education Board has finalised the schedule for this year's Junior Scholarship Examination.

According to the revised schedule, the examination will be held on December 8, 10, 13 and 15. The Bangla examination will be held on December 8, English on December 10, Mathematics on December 13, and Science and Bangladesh and Global Studies on December 15.

Prof Akhtaruzzaman confirmed the schedule, saying the examination dates have been brought forward slightly from those set in the academic calendar.
