KAU VC meets JUST VC to discuss MoU and academic cooperation

Prof Dr. Md. Asaduzzaman Sarkar, Vice-Chancellor of Khulna Agricultural University (KAU), paid a courtesy call on Prof Dr. Abdul Majid, Vice-Chancellor of Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST).

The meeting took place on Tuesday (August 4) at the JUST Vice-Chancellor's office. Both leaders held fruitful discussions on increasing mutual cooperation, improving education and research standards, and expanding joint academic programs between the two universities.

The proposal to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions received key emphasis during the discussion. Both parties expressed positive views regarding teacher-student exchanges, joint research projects, sharing laboratory facilities, and organizing joint seminars, workshops, and training programs under the proposed MoU.

During the meeting, KAU VC Professor Dr. Md. Asaduzzaman Sarkar said inter-university cooperation is essential to enhance higher education quality and expand research scope. He noted that the proposed MoU would allow teachers, researchers, and students from both universities to share experiences and open new horizons in education and research.

At the end of the meeting, both Vice-Chancellors expressed their commitment to strengthening mutual cooperation in higher education, research, and innovation. They also expressed hope that the collaboration would gain institutional backing through the signing of an MoU soon.
