Uttara Bank launches BANGLA QR Merchant Prog

Uttara Bank PLC has launched its BANGLA QR Merchant Programme to make digital transactions easier, faster and more secure.

The programme was inaugurated by the bank’s Managing Director and CEO, Md. Abul Hashem, at the bank’s Ladies’ Branch in Dhaka on Monday.

Under the initiative, merchants will be able to connect to BANGLA QR and accept digital payments from customers quickly and securely, according to the bank.

Deputy Managing Director Khandaker Ali Samnoon, Executive General Manager and Zonal Head Mohammad Liton Pasa Khan, General Manager Md. Kamruz-Zaman and other senior executives of the bank were present at the inauguration.

The initiative is aimed at facilitating digital payment acceptance among merchants and expanding the use of secure cashless transactions.
