4 Pabna schools, madrasas face total failure

PABNA, Aug 11: Not a single student from four educational institutions in the district passed this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations. Sixty students participated in the examination from the institutions.

According to the published results, the four educational institutions in Pabna that failed 100% are - Magura Dakhil Madrasa in Bhangura Upazila, CKB Alim Madrasa (Vocational Branch) in the same upazila, Harovanga Islamia Dakhil Madrasa in Faridpur Upazila and Mahela Mohila Dakhil Madrasa in Chatmohar Upazila.

Of these, 19 students from Magura Dakhil Madrasa in Bhangura Upazila, 7 from CKB Alim Madrasa (Vocational Branch), 14 from Harovanga Islamia Dakhil Madrasa in Faridpur Upazila and 20 from Mahela Mohila Dakhil Madrasa in Chatmohar Upazila participated in the examination.

District Education Officer Abdur Razzak confirmed this information and said that action will be taken after investigating the reasons for the disastrous results.
