A 50-member delegation of the US-Bangladesh Business Council held a meeting with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
The meeting began on Thursday (August 13) at the Prime Minister's Office in the Secretariat. Disussions focused on US-Bangladesh business relations and issues of mutual interest after the meeting started at 9:30 AM.
Oliver Simpson, Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Excelerate Energy, led the delegation along with Ambassador (Retd.) Atul Keshap, President of the US-Bangladesh Business Council and Senior Vice President for South Asia at the US Chamber of Commerce.
Representatives from the US-Bangladesh Business Council and a spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office will address the media after the meeting.
