Dear Sir,
Chattogram railway station is one of the busiest railway stations in the country. As Chattogram is a major economic region, the station serves many businesspeople and ordinary commuters. However, its services often fail to meet passengers’ needs and make their journeys difficult.
The station’s unhealthy surroundings and inadequate services are major concerns. A shortage of cleaners and negligence in their duties often leave the station dirty, damp and foul-smelling, with straw and debris scattered around. Passengers waiting for trains or purchasing tickets suffer discomfort, with some experiencing dizziness and nausea. Moreover, unclear announcements often prevent passengers from receiving proper updates about their trains, adding to their anxiety.
I therefore urge the authorities to address these problems promptly. Proper supervision of cleaners and modern technology can significantly improve railway services and reduce passengers’ sufferings.
