Noakhali drug drive: 15 arrested

A number of anti-drug rallies and awareness sessions were held by the police of Noakhali District, under the direction of the District Police Superintendence NM Nasiruddin.

Anti-narcotics meetings and rallies were organized in the areas of Sudharam Model, Companyganj and Chatkhil police stations, with the participation of various individuals including representatives of the public, officials, reporters, students and locals.

During the special drive, police arrested 15 people and recovered 73 yaba tablets and 2.6 kg of cannabis. Four cases were filed, one person was punished by a mobile court, and two alleged members of a banned organisation were also arrested.
