2 killed in truck-motorcycle collision in Dinajpur

Two motorcycle riders were killed after a truck smashed a motorcycle in Dinajpur Sadar upazila on Sunday evening.
The accident occurred at Janiapara area of Shashora Union on the Dinajpur-Gobindaganj regional highway.
Moniruzzaman, inspector (investigation) of Dinajpur Kotwali Police Station, said the bodies will be handed over to the families through legal procedures.

The accident occurred at Janiapara area of Shashora Union on the Dinajpur-Gobindaganj regional highway.
The deceased were identified as Rifat Emon, 22, and Ejazul Haque Sohag, 28, both hailed from Nayanpur area of Dinajpur town.
Locals said a speeding truck heading from Phulbari towards Dinajpur smashed the motorcycle at Janiapara area. Emon died on the spot, while Sohag was critically injured and later died at Dinajpur Medical College Hospital.
