Election Commission (EC) Secretary Akhtar Ahmed on Monday inspected the polling centre in the Parliament building ahead of the presidential election.
According to EC officials, a seven-member team led by the EC secretary inspected the polling centre set up in the Parliament chamber.
After receiving their ballot papers, lawmakers will sign them and cast their votes in one of three ballot boxes.
Voting will take place from 2pm to 5pm on August 20.
The votes will be counted immediately after polling ends at 5pm.
There are 349 valid votes in total. Chief Election Commissioner will announce the number of votes received by each candidate.
