National Film Award-winning actress Toma Mirza has officially joined the banking profession alongside her acting career.
She has been serving as Assistant Vice President (AVP - Brand and Communications) at a private bank for nearly three months.
Toma confirmed that she will continue acting alongside her banking role, emphasizing that acting remains her primary passion. She stated that the bank management supports her acting career, ensuring no conflict between her professional responsibilities.
The actress recently drew attention for her performances in movies such as Surongo and Dagi alongside Afran Nisho. She noted that she prefers to work selectively, taking on one or two film projects per year.
Beyond mainstream cinema, Toma has received praise for her work on OTT platforms, including titles like Janowar, Khachar Bhitor Ochin Pakhi, and Friday.
She views her entry into the banking sector as a valuable opportunity to explore new life experiences and broaden her professional skills.
Toma Mirza is set to begin shooting for her upcoming film Kholnayak, directed by Vicky Zahed, where she will once again star opposite Afran Nisho.
