This year’s Junior School Certificate (JSC) has been brought forward slightly, with the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board finalising a revised schedule.
The decision was taken at a meeting held at the board on August 6, according to officials.
Under the revised schedule, the nationwide examination will begin on December 8, with subsequent tests on December 10, 13 and 15.
Dhaka Education Board Chairman Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman confirmed the development, saying a new schedule was finalised at the meeting.
According to the revised timetable, the Bangla examination will be held on December 8, English on December 10, Mathematics on December 13, and Science and Bangladesh and Global Studies on December 15.
The examination will be held simultaneously across the country for Class VIII students.
