TCL,
one of the world’s leading consumer electronics brands, has officially
launched its premium ‘Health Edition’ Air Conditioner in Bangladesh
through one of the country’s leading electronics retail chains, Sony
Rangs.
With this launch, customers can now purchase TCL’s
advanced, health-focused air conditioner series through Sony Rangs and
other authorized TCL-DX outlets across the country.
Air pollution
has become a regular part of urban life, making indoor air quality an
increasingly important concern. Simply cooling a room is no longer
enough. Dust, humidity and unpleasant odors can also affect comfort
inside closed spaces. Keeping this in mind, TCL’s Health Edition AC
combines cooling with features designed to help maintain a cleaner and
more comfortable indoor environment.
The TCL Premium Health
Edition AC, brought to the Bangladesh market by DX Group, comes with a
six-layer health protection filter system designed to filter the air
through multiple stages and help provide fresher air indoors. The AC
also features Vitamin C technology, adding another health-focused
feature to the series.
Humidity is another common concern in
Bangladesh’s climate. TCL Health Edition AC comes with intelligent
humidity control, which helps manage moisture levels inside the room and
create a more comfortable environment.
The AC also features an
automatic internal cleaning function. Through a process of freezing,
defrosting and drying the coil, the system helps keep the internal parts
of the AC dry and cleaner over time, reducing the buildup of dust and
unwanted odors.
Along with these features, TCL Health Edition AC
comes with DC Full Inverter technology, which can provide up to 70%
energy savings. It also offers Wi-Fi connectivity and smartphone
control, four-way air flow and a built-in voltage stabilizer, making it
suitable for modern homes and everyday use.
At the launch event,
Sony Rangs was represented by Chief Financial Officer Mustafa Waki
Chowdhury, Senior GM Zane Alam, GM & Head of Retail K. M. Musaddeque
Ullah, along with other officials.
Representing DX Group, the
sole distributor of TCL in Bangladesh, were Chief Manufacturing &
Product Officer Arifur Rahman, Head of Sales Mahmudul Alam, Advisor - Marketing & Digital Cluster Muntasir Ahmed, Head of Alternative
Channel Alal Uddin Rumel, along with other officials.
The TCL
Health Edition AC is available in 1-ton, 1.5-ton and 2-ton models, with
12-year compressor warranty, 5-year parts warranty and 2 years of free
home service. The models are now available at Sony Rangs and authorized
TCL-DX electronics stores across Bangladesh.
To celebrate the
launch, customers purchasing a TCL AC by September 30, 2026 will also
get the opportunity to win prizes worth over BDT 100,000, including a
TCL 75-inch TV, washing machine and other exciting prizes.
