New WASA MD Moniruzzaman

The government on Tuesday appointed Dr. Md. Moniruzzaman, an Additional Secretary to the Local Government Division, as new Managing Director (MD) to the Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (Dhaka WASA) on deputation.

He will replace its previous MD Md. Aminul Islam, whose contractual appointment for the position has been cancelled. Aminul Islam has been appointed Director General (DG) of the National Institute of Local Government (NILG) with the rank of a Secretary on a contract of one year from his joining.
