Midnight protest in Brahmanbaria over Hasnat's remarks

There was a protest march in Brahmanbaria at night against statements in the Parliament by Hasnat Abdullah of the National Citizens Party (NCP).

The Qaumi Students Unity Council arranged the protest march around 11:45 PM starting from Jamia Yunusia Madrasa. About 150-200 persons participated and they marched in Brahmanbaria and later held a rally in front of Press Club.

The speakers criticized Hasanath’s statement regarding the recent events in Brahmanbaria and demanded an apology from him. They further said that they will not allow any NCP program in the district tomorrow.
