Dhaka Club prez sued over employee dues

A former employee of Dhaka Club has filed a case against its president and three senior officials, alleging that they withheld a substantial portion of his employment dues and threatened to kill him when he demanded payment.

The case was filed on August 25 by former club employee Ashik Molla with Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Arifur Rahman. After recording the complainant’s statement, the court took cognisance of the complaint and summoned the four accused to appear before it on September 29.
