3 killed as truck hits CNG in Trishal

A tragic head on collision between a truck and a CNG-run autorickshaw took place at Thakur Bari crossing point on Balipara Road, killing three people, among whom two were a woman and a man.

The information from the locals says that the CNG suffered heavy damages in the accident. The rescue squad arrived at the scene and started their recovery work after getting the news of the accident. Two people lost their lives on the spot.

One critically injured individual succumbed to his injuries on the way to the Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.

It is impossible to confirm the identities of the dead and injured as well as the exact details of the accident at the moment.

The OC of the Trishal police station, Mansur Ahmed, has confirmed the deaths of three individuals. It was also stated that the identities of the deceased could not be identified yet.
